that player doesn't control a Blackmail token, that player creates a colorless artifact token named Blackmail with "{t}, Sacrifice Blackmail: Yelad's controller draws a card and you lose 5 life."
As long as a player controls a Blackmail token, if
that player would choose a card or permanent, you choose those cards or permanents instead.
