Fungus zombie druid

The mushrooms protect his body. But they also
eat his remains. Why the druid would do this to
himself is unsure. Maybe he liked these
mushrooms on him. Or maybe it was fashion.
Perhaps an idea of camouflage. Maybe he was infected when alive and he thought that these mushrooms could help him defeat the infection?
