The Midnight Entity

An indestructible, malevolent force known as
the Midnight Entity is summoned. It desires
your death, but wants your allies to kill you
for some unknown reason. The entity will
possess someone close to you & lie in wait,
plotting your demise. It will let that person
continue to keep control, & only exert some
subtle influence to get that person to trick
allies into harming you.
