15th Amendment
All men have the right to vote—The 15th amendment was proposed because slavery was abolished, and now that African Americans were citizens, they should be able to vote—It was ratified on Feb 3, 1870—African american men can vote{line}This wasn’t very effective at first, for the amendment didn’t ban literacy tests and poll taxes. Also, the amendment didn’t include women. Both of these things should have been different.
