54th Mass. Infantry

the battlefield under your control, this card gets
+1/+1 until end of turn.
The 54th Massachusetts Infantry was one of the
first African American regiments of the war.
Their assault on Fort Wagner though
unsuccessful showed their courage to Union
politicians which then led to further enlistments
of black soldiers into the North's army.
