A Strange Compass

Inside the face of the compass is covered with symbols that resemble constellations. When you hold the compass and concentrate on a person, object, or location for one minute the compass will point in approximately that direction for 10 minutes or it is closed. The more specific or well known the subject of concentration is, the more accurately the compass will point. Once a compass has been used in this way, it may not be used again until the next dawn.
