Adaptation

Discard a creature card: If target creature is
currently the target of a spell or ability, return
that spell to its owner's hand or counter that
ability. That creature gains X +1/+1 counters
and Shroud (This effect lasts indefinitely), where X
is the converted mana cost of that spell or ability
plus 1.
