Addition Polymerization
Monomers are small molecules that
join to make up polymers (long molecules).
Monomers are joined through addition reactions
to their double or triple bonds.
Polymers can be synthetic (artificial) or natural.
Plastics are synthetic polymers capable of
changing shapes when heated.
Ex of addition polymers are: polyethene,
polystyrene, polyvinylchloride, and polyacrylonitrile.
