(Requires Attunement) While holding this shield, you have a +1 bonus to AC. While wielding this shield, you can use its mirrored surface to safely view Basilisks, Medusas, and other creatures that have a dangerous gaze. While wielding this shield, you have resistance to radiant damage. {bold}Spell Reflection.{/bold} Once per long rest, you can use a reaction to reflect a spell that targets only you. The spell’s caster must make a Dexterity saving throw with a DC equal to 10 + your Dexterity modifier. On a failed save, the spell is reflected back at the caster as if you had cast it. On a successful save, the spell is defected and effects neither you nor the caster. Once per long rest, you may attempt to recount a past battle to the shield. On a DC 18 History (Intelligence) check, the shield changes its resistance type to spell damage from the specified creature type described in the Legend. This resistance resets when you take a Long Rest. {bold}Adept Enhancement: {/bold} Once per long rest, If you are subjected to an effect that allows you to make a Dexterity saving throw to take only half damage, you can use your reaction to take no damage if you succeed on the saving throw, interposing your shield between yourself and the source of the effect.
