Contagion—When Afflicted Population enters
the battlefield you may put a -1/-1 counter on it.
If you do, put a -1/-1 counter on target creature.
Creatures you control with -1/-1 counters on
them have infect (Creatures with infect deal damage
to creatures in the form of -1/-1 counters and to
players in the form of poison counters.)
