Albert DuBois Soles was born in Olden, ON, son
of notable trapper, Joseph Soles, and Spanish(?)
mother Sarah Hurley - he was named DuBois
after his grandmother. Albert was a trapper also;
after raising his kids, he came to BC in 1908, and
his family were among the first to settle in Parson.
Albert died in nearby Harrogate, BC, at age 83
