Albert Joseph Soles was born in Callander, ON,
on Lake Nipissing. At 10, his family came to BC,
farming along the Columbia River. In 1915, he
enlisted, serving as a private in WWI. Afterwards,
he wed Florence; here is the family in 1939, in
Bowden, AB. Albert, like his father, died of heart-
attack; he died in hospital in Sannich, BC, at 7
