The Allosaurus was the king long before the T-rex and from the dominance of the Jurassic world various other dinosaurs evolved from the Allosaurus such as the Giganotosaurus, Saurophaganax, Silats, Carchardontasaurus and possibly even the mysterious megaraptora.
