Check one Heat to declare that you possess sufficient weaponry to even the odds in a given conflict. If an opponent uses a pistol against you,
you too are armed with a pistol, even if you had
not before mentioned it. Checking an additional
box of Heat grants that weapon an advantage
with a free invoke.
