Amines contain nitrogen, can be thought
of like derivatives of ammonia
1. Name the largest C-H group attached
to the N as an alkane (parent)
2. Remove "-e" from parent name with
"-amine" ("ane"-> "anamine"). Add
position # if needed in front
3. Name alkyl groups attached to N
4. Use "N-" instead of the position #s
when writing branches
