Ant Major Soldier

Ant majors serve as soldiers, using their heavily muscled mandibles to defend the colony, or as workers, carrying large objects and cutting open tough-skinned prey with their immense jaws.
They also serve as transports, carrying smaller
ants who ride them as mounts.
