Aphrodite

Aphrodite was born in foam in the water of Pathos, on the island of Cyprus. Next the Greek goddess of love, beauty and according to Hesiod's theology. Aphrodite married Zeus. Many gods believed that beauty was such that their rivalry over her would spark a war of the gods.
