Artifacts and creatures have elkproof.
(They can't become elks.)
Whenever an opponent creates a food token
or puts +1/+1 counters on a land, that player becomes an elk. (Call a judge. He probably
won't allow non-human players. Unless the
judge became an elk, too.)
