Arachne

Arachne was a weaver who challenged Athena and transformed into a spider. There are three versions of the Arachne. Arachne bragged about her skill, she made Athena mad. Arachne's work was clearly better than Athena's. The goddess was mad due to what the
weaving described, she threw Hecate's potion onto Arachne, transforming her into a spider and punishing her to weave forever.
