Articles of Confederation

The Articles of Confederation was the articles the 13 colonies abided by before the Declaration of Independence. It was a bad way to run the government and it lasted from 1781 to 1789. A few reasons why it was bad was because the government didn't tax the people so it would be difficult to pay the work force and make infrastructure. The colonies also had different currencies so trade was also an issue.
