Augustine of Hippo

Augustine is a very important figure in Church
history. He lived a sinful life before he became a Christian, only to become one of the most
important bishops in all of history! Augustine
taught that no matter how hard we work towards Holiness, it's only through the grace of God that
we can achieve salvation.
it is grace that makes us fulfil the law, and causes nature to be liberated from the dominion of sin.
