As long as Avlyen, Giest Mage is untapped, it has hexproof.
Whenever Avlyen attacks, put a 2/2 blue Spirit creature token with flying and "Whenever this creature deals combat damage to a player, that player discards a card" onto the battlefield tapped and attacking. Exile that token at end of combat.
