tap them, they do not untap during their controllers next untap step.
At the beginning of your next upkeep,
Bataan Death March deals 3 damage to half of those creatures chosen at random.

Forcing their POWs to preform an almost 70 mile trek, many
of their prisoners died in what was latter determined to be a war crime.
