Bayonet

The bayonet is a sharp thin blade is able to attach to the muzzle of a rifle or musket. It allows soldiers to spend less time trying to refill their gun and have the bayonet to stab or cut and enemy. This invention took al long time to perfect it was perfected by Sébastien Le Prestre de Vauban in 1688. This battle tool was not only used in the american revolution but also World War I and II.
