Ben Franklin

Ben Franklin was one of the Founding Fathers of the United States. He had been an influential member of the Pennsylvania legislature. In 1765, during the Stamp Act Crisis, he represented the colonies in London and helped secure the repeal of the act. He was a member of the committee that helped write the Declaration of Independence.
