Whenever you would gain life from a food permanent,
gain that much life plus X. Where X is the amount of +1/+1 counters on Berriel and Barset.

At the beginning your turn, you may sacrifice food. If
you do, put a +1/+1 counter on Berriel and Barset. If you
don't, the next time a food permanent would enter the battlefield under your control, create twice as many copies of it.
