Boron's Romance of the Grail

In his romance cycle 'Romance of the Grail, the
French poet Robert de Boson (12th/13th cen-
tury) connects the Joseph legend to Cretien's
Fisher King, suggesting that the holy grail was
brought to the mysterious Avalan, identified as
modern-day Glastonbury.
"I believe, whoever sees the Grail will find it
agreeable. Those who are able to remain with it
and can bear its presence, when they see it they
feel delight."
