Boston

Boston was an important city in the American Revolution. On March 5, 1770 a fight broke out between Bostonians and British soldiers. The angry townspeople moved toward the customhouse where British taxes were collected. As the crowd approached, the sentry panicked and called for help. This led to the British firing on the townspeople killing five. This is known as the Boston Massacre. The Boston Tea Party also took place in Boston.
