Boy in a well

While passing by a village, a hysterical woman comes running out to meet you. She tells you her son has fallen down the well and no one has been able to get him out. The sun is setting and they fear he will be stuck there overnight. Will you help them retrieve the boy, or leave them to solve their own problem?
