Caldera
{t}{r},{u} or {b}
"Caldera hotsprings are places of boiling hot water, sometimes
alkaline or acidic mud as well, with venting poisonous gases
roiling up from the earth. Animals sometimes seek refuge in hot
springs in the winter but can succumb to either the poisonous gases
or get boiled alive and only their well cooked ivory bones remain
when spring arrives."
