Forged of primordial brass in the Livid Caldera, this
blade flares with burning coronae when it strikes.
It helps its wielder protect others, but with a disregard
for self-preservation.

To attune, you must grip its blade tightly for one hour
as it heats up. The immensely painful process ends
when the blade glows white-hot, coating your palm
with a fine layer of magical molten brass.

You take 6d8 fire damage at the end of the hour.
