Basil the Great (330-379)
Gregory of Nyssa/the Great (ca. 335-ca. 395)
Gregory of Nazianzus (329-389) - Forcibly ordained, introvert. Very well-respected for
his complex sermons, offered position of Archbishop of Constantinople, which he
turned down because it was corrupt. He then turned to the doctrine of the Trinity.
Basil and Nyssa were brothers.
