Caribou
Tundra
2 Points
Diet (2): Caribou Moss and Arctic Willow
Caribou are well adapted to the tundra due to
their broad hooves which which better support them on
the snow. They also have hollow hairs which help to
provide additional insulation from the cold. Finally,
being fairly large means that while they need to eat
more, they also have a lower surface area to volume
ratio, allowing them to retain heat well.
