Cedar Canoe

The main form of transportation for the
K'omoks people is dugout cedar canoes.
Their used for transporting people or
freight along the river and allow them
access to more food by means of fishing
and hunting on the boats. Sometimes the
canoes are also used for racing up and
down the river.
