Ciaran, Lord's Blade cannot attack, unless the defending player controls no creatures.

When Ciaran, Lord's Blade deals combat damage
to a player, that player loses the game. When that player does, you may draw cards equal to the
number of remaining permanents they had on the battlefield as they lost the game.
