Whenever Contradicting Serperior would
be dealt combat damage less than its toughness, prevent that damage then put a number of +1/+1 counters on Contradicting Serperior equal to the damage prevented this way.
A disapproving glare is usually all it takes to prevent any attempt of sedition.
