Convoy

Groups of ships traveling across sea, while being defended by armed forces. Convoys were common
in WWII for exporting and importing goods from
other alliances. They were difficult to take down
due to the sheer amount of technology used by the
specific carrier. Most threats would be easily
spotted, and reaching the merchant ships before
being shot down would be a tough task. (40)
