Creek War

A battle that lasted from 1813 to 1814 between US
forces versus the Creek Indians, who were British
allies in the War of 1812. The Native American side
was led by Tecumseh, who warned those in the South
of threats posed by the whites. Factions arose, and a
group known as the Red Sticks spied on the Americans
and surprise-attacked them at a fort in Lake Tensaw.
The attack was immediately responded with Andrew
