Cuban Nationalism

Through appealing to the Cuban nationalist, Jose Martin, Castro portrayed himself as an advocate for an independent Cuba. He rallied the Cuban citizens around economic inequality and broadcasted Cuban political and economic independence from the Spanish and US to promote a misused version of “nationalism.”
