When you cast the spell and as your action on
each turn, you can focus your mind on a creature
that you can see. A creature with Intelligence of 3
or less, or that speaks no languages is unaffected.
You initially learn surface thoughts, but as an
action can shift to a new target or probe deeper
(phb. 231). This spell can also alert you to any
hidden, thinking creatures within range.
