The Domestic Forces, alternatively called the police
force, serve as the Fire Nation's law enforcement
agency and national guard. By the late Hundred
Year War, their main purposes were to maintain law
and order in the Fire Nation, defend the nation
from foreign invasions, and train the troops of
other Fire Nation military branches.
