Eleanor 'Ellen' Geddes was born in what is now
a provincial park: Taylor Head, NS. She is the
granddaughter of Robert Geddes, pioneer of the
Musquodoboit Valley. In 1844, she and George
started a family; they would have 6 boys, and 2
girls. They moved to MA as seniors, and, after 54
years of marriage, Eleanor died, in Attleborough.
