Elizabeth Keachie was the great granddaughter
of Scottish immigrants to the US. She was born
in Beverly, ON; by 1825, her family had come to
Canada. At 23, she married John; 5 children
were born to them: 2 boys, and 3 girls. Elizabeth
died when her kids were still young: at age 41, she
succumbed to inflammation in Waterloo, ON.
