Elizabeth Margaret Storie was born in Thorne,
QC, the 4th child in her family born in Canada.
Her nickname was 'Lizzie.' In 1887, she married
Richard, and they had 7 kids: 4 boys and 3 girls.
Homesteading in Parson, BC, Elizabeth lived to
be 80, dying in 1943, in Golden, BC, where she's
buried. She's pictured here with daughter Mary.
