Eschenbach's Parzival
In his 'Parzival', the 12th/13th century knight
and poet Wolfram von Eschenbach connected
the Grail legend, as is precessors had done
earlier, to those on the legendary King Arthur.
Already, the Grail has become both a tangible
object and a symbol for the quest for spiritual
growth.
"When indecision’s in the heart,
the soul is bound to grieve and smart."
