Exposition

Ponyboy intrudes the gang. Him, Dallas, and Johnny decide to go to the movies and meet Cherry, whose boyfriend is part of the Socs.
I remembered how awful Johnny looked when he was jumped. I had just as much right to use the streets as the Socs did, and Johnny had never hurt them. Why did the Socs hate us?
