Falling Action

The falling action of the story is that Jonas take the Newchild Gabe in order to start a new life for him after connecting the dots to realize that what his father means by "releasing" the children, he actually kills them. He gets so fed up with the way that society doesn't value a persons life that he is completely done with the community, something that no one has ever done before.
