Debt counters on Fatidic Arrival, where X is the missing mana.

At the beginning of your upkeep, you lose X life and must sacrifice a creature. If you can't, sacrifice the creature summoned by this effect. You may pay {x} each turn to remove X Debt counters. When all Debt counters are removed, destroy Fatidic Arrival.
