Fidel Castro

Fidel Castro is the dictator of Cuba for 43 years from 1965 to 2008. He became the dictator by using his fame and charisma to convince the Cuban people that Cuba needed to have another revolution to end political corruptness, redistribute land to all of the people, kick the US out of Cuban economics and politics, and especially restore what Batista destroyed. Using his power, Castro made economic and social reforms to benefit the country but limited personal freedoms.
