This spell finds the most direct physical route to
a specific location that you are familiar with. If
you name a destination on another plane, that
moves (mobile fortress), or that isn't specific (a
green dragon's lair), the spell fails.
You know how far it is and in what direction it
lies. Whenever you are presented with a choice
of paths along the way, you determine which path
